For the storm forecasted to start January 24
With snow in the forecast, we want to share a reminder about winter parking rules ahead of a possible Snow Alert/Emergency being declared. All vehicles must be removed from Snow Alert/Emergency routes so plows have enough room to operate safely and push snow properly off the roadway. The Lansdale Police Department will help distribute this message and will actively enforce parking restrictions on Snow Alert/Emergency routes throughout the Borough.
Additionally, SEPTA has agreed to allow residents to park for FREE in the parking garage from Saturday, January 24 – Tuesday, January 27. For those who live near municipal parks, parking in Borough park lots such as White’s Road Park, Fourth Street Park, Stony Creek Park, Memorial Park and Schweiker Park are other available options. Vehicles left on restricted routes prevent plows from safely clearing streets and slow storm cleanup for everyone so please be sure to have your vehicle moved ahead of the storm.
