On November 8, 2025, the Lansdale Borough Parks & Recreation Department hosted the Ribbon Cutting of the W. 5th Street Playground Rehabilitation Project! It was fantastic to officially welcome the community back to enjoy this beautiful new space! Kids can come explore, be among the first to enjoy the brand-new playground equipment, and grab a free snack. These new improvements include:
- Brand-new playground equipment and safety surfacing
- An ADA-accessible parking area
- A resurfaced basketball court
- New fencing along the railroad tracks
- Shaded bench seating
This project was made possible through funding from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and the Montgomery County Office of Health and Human Development’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.
