Electric Service Information

Whether you are a new customer or a returning customer, we want to provide you with service as quickly and conveniently as possible. Find quick information on utility customer service in our customer guide!

Electric/Sewer Certification

Anyone wishing to obtain an electric or sewer certification will need to pay a fee; $50 Electric, $20 Sewer, $70 Electric and Sewer.  Forms can be filled out here and emailed to certs@lansdale.gov with payment to be mailed. (Certification fee(s) must be paid in advance)

Service Sign Up

We look forward to providing you with efficient and effective service. Twenty-four hours notice must be given to the electric department to have service turned on at your property during normal business hours. New owners must contact our Customer Service Department prior to their property settlement. Electric bills are to be paid within 20 days of the billing date.

Service Disconnect

We are sorry to see you go, but enjoyed the opportunity to serve you. A minimum of twenty-four hour notice is required to terminate service; you can disconnect service through our website by clicking here.  Alternately, you can contact the Customer Service Department at 215-368-1691 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday (closed from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm).  

Reconnections

You will be charged a minimum of $100 for all reconnections that occur from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. An $200 fee is charged for reconnections from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm. 

Payment

Visit our online utility billing page for online payment information.  In person payments can be made during normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 8am - 4:30pm; Closed 11:30 am - 12:30 pm) at the Customer Service Department, second floor of Borough Hall.  Payments may also be left in the payment box at Borough Hall after hours--please do not use the box for cash payments.

Medical Certification Form

If you medically cannot have your electric service interrupted, you must provide certification from a medical doctor to the Borough. Fill out and submit the Medical Certification Form (PDF) and return to Customer Service to assure no disruption to your service.
