Start Electric Service

Whether you are a new customer or an existing customer, to initiate service at a new location you are required
to apply for service. You can apply via email by scanning and sending the documents below to esa@lansdale.org or by bringing the documents below in person to the Customer Service Department at Borough Hall.  

Here’s what you need to supply for a new service account:

  1. Photo Identification (valid state or federally issued)
  2. Copy of Signed Lease (must be signed by both tenant and landlord)
  3. Application* (see below) Account number will be assigned by the Customer Service Department following your first billing cycle.  When submitting forms via email, please be sure to attach all necessary documentation including lease, photo id and the completed application

*service start date cannot be on holidays or weekends

Houses / Apartments (Residential)

Persons renting a house or apartment within the Borough of Lansdale must sign up for electric service.

Businesses (Commercial)

Businesses within Lansdale Borough need to contact the Code Enforcement Department to complete all applicable permit(s) prior to setting up electric service.
