Effective January 1, 2009
Providing for access to public information, for a designated open-records officer in each Commonwealth agency, local agency, judicial agency and legislative agency, for procedure, for appeal of agency determination, for judicial review and for the Office of Open Records; imposing penalties; providing for reporting by State-related institutions; requiring the posting of certain state contract information on the Internet; and making related repeals. Requests can be found below and emailed to the Open Records Officer (rtk@lansdale.org)
Please be aware that requestors have a right to appeal any denial of information in writing to the Office of Open Records, Commonwealth Keystone Building, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120. Appeals must be filed within 15 business days of the mailing date of response, as outlined in Section 1101 of the PA Right-to-Know Law.
Requests for accidents, or any type of police record cannot be requested through the Borough. In order to access these types of records, Police RTK forms (available here) must be submitted to lansdalepolice@lansdalepd.org or by calling 215-368-1801 for more information.
